Position Summary

This position performs patient care by assessing patients physical and functional abilities. Based on problems determined, the occupational therapist establishes and carries out plan of care to include: patients/family instruction, d/c planning, documentation in medical record, communication with team, and reassessment. He/She helps patients achieve maximum level of functioning. This position acts as clinical instructor for students, and participates in departmental functions, i.e. process improvement.

Minimum Qualifications

BS and/or Masters degree in Occupational Therapy. Licensed in the state of Ohio. New graduates with excellent references. BLS Certification
