Waste Connections has an immediate position open for an Office Manager at our Hauling Company in Lubbock, TX. The rest of your time will be spent in the office handling AP,AR and Collections, doing monthly and quarterly reports, taking inbound phone calls, and working in Excel.
This is a full-time Mon-Fri day shift position. Pay DOE + family benefits.

Responsibilities include:
- Supervise personnel, which typically includes recommendations for hiring, firing, performance evaluation, training, work allocation, and problem resolution
- Manage daily administrative operations of a department including establishing work priorities; assist in resolving problems related to the day-to-day operations of the unit
- Provide and/or oversee the provision of administrative assistance and support to the district/site manager, to include problem solving, project planning and management, fiscal management, day-to-day office coordination, and secretarial services
- Oversee and provide personal computer functions such as scheduled and special reports, correspondence, and database management
- Coordinate department programs, seminars, workshops, travel arrangements, special projects, and/or events; may coordinate program/project development and planning
Provide reporting and communications to Division Management
Requirements:
- Degree preferred
- 2 years directly related management expertise in administration
- Proficient in MS Word and Excel
