My client is one of the leading Managed Services Companies in Europe; they are an Oracle Gold Partner and continue to go from strength to strength.
The role will be to join their established managed services Oracle eBusiness DBA team offering remote support and project consultancy for clients across the UK and Europe. My client is looking for skilled Oracle Application DBAs with strong knowledge of the Oracle Applications suite 11i (11.5.10-R12).
Joining a highly skilled team, you will be required to perform both Core production support and Development DBA tasks. The role will be based in the South East, but successful candidates will need to be prepared to travel both UK wide and abroad.
Required skills:
You must have strong production support DBA skills (9i 10g)
Ideally commercial RAC, Grid, OEM AS.
Knowledge of RMAN, Data Guard, hot and cold back-ups, patching, cloning, configuration and performance tuning.
1-2 years 11-R12 Apps DBA Support experience.
Strong PL/SQL and SQL skills.
UNIX and/or Windows administration skills.
Excellent client facing support skills.
Desirable:
Functional knowledge of Oracle Apps Financials, HRMS/Payroll, SCM or P2P modules.
Unix Shell Scripting.
