CSC Opportunity: Oracle EBS R12 Demantra Delivery Consultant The Oracle Advanced Planning Applications Consultant will be responsible for providing thought leadership in leading practices while implementing and managing some or all of the following Oracle applications on client engagements: -- Demantra Demand Planning -- Demantra Real-Time Sales and Operations Planning -- Oracle Advanced Supply Chain Planning -- Global Order Promising -- Inventory Optimization -- Trade Promotions -- CPG The expectations of this position include design and development of client's internal and external supply chain management networks and a comprehensive knowledge of the interaction between these applications and the supporting Oracle E-Business Suite Financial, Procurement, Order Management, Manufacturing, Inventory and Logistics applications. Key Responsibilities May Include: Gather and document requirements and create business process models based on client requirements Facilitate process design workshops and document the resulting solutions Map and apply industry leading practices to client's unique requirements and processes Configure the applications to meet client's business requirements Prepare functional design specification and work closely with the technical team in associated technical scope like conversions, interfaces, reports, and extensions Coordinate multiple testing iterations to confirm client's business requirements have been met Troubleshooting and issue resolution with Oracle Advanced Planning Application modules Training and assisting users Providing post-production support Qualifications: -- Required experience in one or more of the following: Demantra, Advanced Supply Chain Planning, Global Order Promising and Inventory Optimization -- Must be proficient with Application Implementation Methodology and associated assets/documentation requirements (Oracle AIM and related methods, etc.) -- Additional experience with Procurement, Manufacturing, Warehouse Management, Logistics, Mobile Supply Chain Applications (MSCA) and/or Product Life Cycle Management (PLM) applications is preferred but not required -- Experience with Demantra Trade Promotion Management, Advanced Planning Command Center, Strategic Network Optimization could also be helpful -- At least 3 Demantra full cycle implementations -- 6+ years related experience -- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience -- Travel (up to 75%) required depending on your location relative to clients Professional Skill Requirements: Communication skills: strong presentation/ communication / facilitation skills (oral and written). Business process analysis and design experience: strong business analysis skills; process mapping; business process redesign and implementation. Strong interpersonal, communication, and client-facing skills, which demonstrates confidence and fosters a "Trusted Advisor" relationship with the client. Able to present solutions described above to senior client management via whiteboard and PowerPoint. General consulting skills, including: team facilitation, business case development, and strong attention to details. Team leader (both consulting and client employees). Systems implementation skills include requirements/process analysis, conceptual and detailed design, requirements mapping, Oracle applications configuration, testing, training, change management, documentation and applications support. Essential Job Functions Interprets requirements data, maps current and future state business processes to the packaged application(s) being implemented, and develops plans to address functional gaps between the packaged application and the redesigned processes (Business). Develops depth of implementation experience to address multiple integration points between functions, related interface and data conversion issues, and expanded setup and configuration requirements (Business). Researches and presents information/data regarding how other companies in the client---s industry are using specific application products to improve business performance (Business). Builds on Catalyst and specific vendor methodology knowledge and blend methodologies appropriately to meet unique project and client needs (Methodology). Leads a team of 6-10 resources (company, client and third-party resources) in area of expertise to conclusion of a project phase (Management). Guides others in vendor programming languages and standards for interfaces and bolt-on components (Technical). Manages client expectations and balances the needs of the company and the client to ensure satisfaction for both (Relationship Management). Influences decisions and project direction at the executive level (Relationship Management). Performs consultative selling and leverages business through superior delivery skills, client relations and subject matter expertise (Leverage). Participates in proposal efforts and sales calls (Leverage). Provides leadership and work guidance to less experienced personnel (Leadership). Communicates in formal presentation settings including medium to large sized groups of key decision makers at the executive level; tailors presentations to needs and interests of the audience. Develops articles and white papers covering areas of expertise (Communication). oracle 392 Qualifications Basic Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred Six or more years of consulting experience with business analysis and software product implementation Experience working with CSC Catalyst and/or equivalent client or vendor-mandated methodology Experience working with the integrated structure of a complex software product suite Experience working with how the client's current and future state business processes map to the packaged application being implemented Other Qualifications Two to five years of additional relevant experience in one or more business or industry specialty areas Strong skills in solution demonstration lab (SDL) and prototyping techniques Strong communication skills Ability to deal with and resolve ambiguity Ability to anticipate problems and take decisive action, giving regard to the impact on both the client and the company Ability to adjust personal style to different situations Willingness to travel Relocation Assistance: Not Available Department: Business Consulting Clearance: None
