Position Summary:

We have an immediate opening for an experienced Order Administrator in our San Francisco office. In this role you will be responsible for the daily administration and entry of in-bound software license, maintenance and other related orders for multiple product lines in the Americas region. A successful candidate will have prior experience in the discipline of order entry in a software environment, understand contractual aspects of software orders, have a general understanding of software product components and services deliverables, and have the ability to produce quality results in a very fast paced, deadline driven environment.

Responsibilities:
- Manage the integrity and accuracy of the order entry function ensuring orders are entered correctly and on time
- Work closely with sales department in validation of commitment and process incoming orders
- Work with legal department for validation of Software License Agreement and/or professional service agreement
- Track timeline of product shipments
- Maintain customer configuration and order history data on an ongoing basis
- Fulfill license delivery requests via ESD system.

Qualifications:
- BA/BS degree required.
- Experience or solid knowledge in applying software revenue recognition rules and policy
- General understanding of software and professional services contract components and their application
- General understanding of software product components and their application
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to make sound judgment calls and work under tight deadlines in a fast paced environment
- Strong experience with multiple computer applications.

Additional Requirements:
- Must be able to support high volume order entry
- Must have the ability to work overtime and multitask during periods requiring support of high volume, largely calendar quarter ends
- Type and 10 key input above 50 wpm
- Self-motivated, goal oriented and strong commitment to accuracy, a quality work product and getting the job done efficiently
- Experience in Oracle order entry systems and process helpful
- Highly proficient in Microsoft applications with special emphasis on Microsoft Word and Excel
- Must be detailed oriented.
