Order Expeditor
Leading world-wide supplier of automation technology is looking for an Order Expeditor. They will work in the corporate office in Hauppauge acting as a liaison between sales and customer service to ensure orders are properly executed.
Working hours: 8:00-5:30 M-F
--Must be able to accelerate activities or purchase items at various vendors to meet the project's schedule.
--Tracks orders, receives goods, and places products into inventory.
--Record and maintains inventory of quantity, type of materials, parts received and distributed, manually or inputting into the computer.
--Meetings with supervisors to control overdue materials and parts as well as inform them about the status of the product.
--Work closely with the contractors to make sure the projects are operating according to schedule.
--Frequent check-ins with the suppliers to ensure that delivery will be sent on the agreed date, as they are responsible for managing the timing of the delivery.
--Ability to multi-task and make independent judgments and decisions
--Going over budgets for supplies and working with the contractor when requiring more materials than planned.
--Must be very accurate when purchasing materials.
--Experienced with SAP
