Paralegal Job in Boston, Massachusetts US
The Funds and Compliance Paralegal will be responsible for working with attorneys on new fund formations and fund compliance and maintenance, as well as management company formation, maintenance and compliance and certain related transactions. Duties will include assisting the Hedge Funds team with matters related to clients? compliance programs under the Investment Advisers Act and other federal securities and commodities laws, handling certain client reports and filings (e.g. Form ADV, Form D, Section 13 and 16 filings, NFA filings), managing closings of fund formation and portfolio transactions, as well as regulatory and legislative research.
Requirements:
A bachelor?s degree and 5+ years experience working as a funds and/or asset management paralegal is required. Experience with regulatory compliance is preferred. Candidates must have strong research and analytical skills, excellent organization and communication skills, and be capable of handling multiple responsibilities simultaneously. Candidates must also be able to work well in a team oriented environment.
