PeopleSoft Business Analyst – Financial Systems recruitment

The Role / Responsibilities:

The Business Analyst will be responsible for supporting end-users on PeopleSoft Financials modules under the guidance of the immediate supervisor and will also be involved in addressing day to day user issues/requests. This Business Analyst will also participate as a member of the PeopleSoft Financials team on project related tasks.

Specific Responsibilities include:

• Supporting PeopleSoft General Ledger, Billing, Accounts Receivable, Asset Management and Accounts Payable modules for the Finance function, including trouble-shooting, maintenance and enhancements.
• Being responsible for process design, configuration, creation and dissemination of procedures/documentation, testing, and training.
• Supporting reporting/query needs including the creation of specifications, development and maintenance, and testing of reports and queries.
• Effectively communicating and translating technical concepts to the user community.
• Participating in PeopleSoft projects as required

Qualifications:
• Must be educated to degree level

 Experience:
• Previous experience in PeopleSoft Financial applications is essential (GL, AR, BI, AM, AP, Query/SQL, and nVision)
• Multicurrency, accounting or global consolidations experience desired

The Department / Team

The EMEA Finance Controllership Group consists of around 30 employees across Europe with a central hub in London. It is responsible for group US financial reporting, local statutory reporting and financial controls for each of the EMEA offices.

• The candidate must possess strong organizational and communication skills and be detail oriented.
• The ideal candidate will also have the ability to work both independently and as a member of a team and be able to work in a fast paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Must be fluent in English
• Excellent written, verbal and strong interpersonal skills are required.
• Proficiency in MS Word and Excel are required.
