Lead Scheduler to support the BMDSS organization on the JRDC program located at Schriever, AFB CO.BMDSS maintains roughly 80 discrete project schedules. The Lead Scheduler is responsible for leading a team to include two schedulers in working with Project Managers in developing their discrete project schedules and creating an Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) in conjunction with the Integrated Master Plan (IMP) and contract requirements. The IMS must be resourced to assist JRDC Project Management Office in understanding matrix assets and personnel resource conflicts. In addition, develop and manage the BMDSS schedule management process and facilitate integration/training across all functional areas within the organization. The Lead Scheduler will work closely with Management, Project Managers, System Engineers and Implementation Engineers in tracking project activities against schedule baselines. Work with Cost Account Managers in the bookkeeping, analysis, and reporting of earned value specific products and deliverables. Coordinate with Management, Project Managers and Task Leads in the creation of progress/status reports and be responsible for generating Earned Value Management System (EVMS) data and reporting metrics. Provide recommendations on appropriate schedule structures, critical paths, resource allocations, task activities, naming conventions, and procedures for use within the project plans/schedules. Assist in the development of project management plans to include; Scope, Risk, Cost, Quality, and Procurement Management plans. Participate in project planning/scheduling meetings.

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree with minimum of 10 years experience. Must have or be able to obtain DoD Secret Clearance. Excellent collaboration, teaming, communication, and presentation skills are required. Must be proactive in working with peers, customers, and managers to achieve organizational goals and objectives. Strong experience with MS Project and knowledge of scheduling methodologies (resource loading, critical path, EVMS) is required. Capability to operate within a challenging and dynamic environment is a must.

Preferred Qualifications:

Enterprise experience with MS Project Server 2007 and 2010. Experience working with Cost Account Manager (CAM). Current PMI Scheduling Professional (PMI-SP) and/or Project Management Professional (PMP) certification. Familiarity with IT business methodologies. Familiarity with Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) 14 Point Schedule Assessment. Experience and understanding of dynamic scheduling.
