Piping Design Engineer Job in Charlotte 28016, North Carolina Us
Description:
We have an immediate need in the west part of Charlotte for a Piping Design Engineer/AutoCAD guru that can:
-Prepare clear, complete and accurate working plans, detail drawings by use of AutoCAD, PFD/PID's, and other engineering documents from rough or detailed sketches.
-Prepare flowsheets, site and equipment layouts of new or modified chemical plant facilities.
-Analyze by design calculations and determines the size or specification for process equipment, piping and structural steel.
-Assist construction or project managers by reviewing fieldwork against detailed designs.
-Generate conceptual layouts and process designs for equipment and facilities to support new technology.
-Create final equipment fabrication and construction installing drawings, checking dimensions of parts, and materials to be used.
Requirements:
Associate's degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Design software such as Auto CAD 2009 or equal CAD software, SAP, Excel and Access.
