Piping Designer Job in Alpharetta 30022, Georgia Us
IMMEDIATE NEED: Contract to hire position for a PIPING DESIGNER with piping design and facility layout experience. Must have a minimum of 3 years AutoCAD experience and at least 1 year of 3D AutoCAD Inventor experience. Must be able to travel in support of projects. No per diem or relocation is available for this position.
Responsibilities
- Will create 3D Models of piping plans using Inventor for new projects
- Responsible for design of piping and facility mechanical equipment layouts as required by engineering and/or customer specifications
- Responsible for creating section views, details and isometrics and drawing modifications for engineers and clients
Requirements
- Must have at least a 2 - year degree in Drafting Design Technology
- Must have experience with modifying existing Autocad PIDs drawings
- Must have 2+ years of Piping design experience
- Must have 3+ years of Autodesk Autocad experience with at least 1+ years of Autodesk Inventor experience desired
- Piping and facility layout experience is desired
- Must be willing to travel and perform field walkdowns
