Position Summary To deal assigned table game, ensure compliance with gaming regulations and provide excellent guest service. Duties and Responsibilities Creates an atmosphere of hospitality and friendliness toward guests. Makes eye contact and greets the guest by first name, if known, upon arriving to the table and thanks the guest for playing when they leave the table. Knowledge in all aspects of the games dealt. Compliance of company/ departmental policies and procedures, Colorado Gaming Regulations and Internal controls. Ensures appropriate game protection. Ensures appropriate game pace for all players. Ensures payouts are made quickly and accurately. Fills and credit tables by verification of cheques. Opening and closing tables by verification of all cheque inventory. JOB REQUIREMENTS: Required Knowledge and Skills Strong problem solving, mediation, coaching, and consulting skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Knowledgeable of applicable state gaming laws and regulations. Required Natural Behaviors Ability to sustain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism. Ability to maintain a high level of energy and take a proactive and strategic approach to dealing with issues. Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with guests. Highly organized and detail-oriented Required Education and Work Experience Completion of Dealers School or six months experience as a dealer. Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and peers alike. Excellent team member and customer relations skills. Strong math skills. Ability to work any shift or hours.
