Portfolio Manager | $5Billion European Hedge Fund | Singapore
This is a unique opportunity for a candidate with a proven track record running an Equity Portfolio to join one of the leading Emerging Markets fund managers as they expand their Singapore headcount.
The role will be running a current book the firm has in place; developing and implementing new investment strategies across a broad range of sectors in the Global Emering Markets using detailed Fundamental research to select profitable stocks.

Role Responsibilities
- Work closely with Analysts and other PM's to perform detailed Fundamental research into the APAC and GEM's markets to identify profitable long-term stocks for the firm to invest in
- Conduct company visits with Analysts to get a more comprehensive understading of their business and the investment prospects they pose
- Train Junior Fund Managers and Analysts along with other members of the team
- Contribute to the overall investment strategy of the fund through your views on the broader Economic landscape and any opportunities this poses
Candidate Requirements
- 7-11 years experience within the Equity Markets, with at least 3 years funning an Equity Portfolio covering the Asia Pacific Markets. Candidates with Long/Short experience are highly prefreed
- University Educated, obtaining at least a BSc in Economics, Finance or Banking from a Global Top 50 University
- Excellent written and oral communication skills with a particular focus on meticulous research
- An exceptional level of understanding of the market fundamentals of business in ASia and how this creates investent opportunities
- Fluency in both English and Mandarin (Written and Oral) will be required for this role due to the coverage
