Portfolio Manager recruitment
In your role as Portfolio Manager you take accountability for delivery of a varied and complex portfolio of audits, reporting to the Group Functions Functional Audit Director (FAD). The candidate will be based at Corporate Centre in Switzerland to replace the current position holder.
You will be accountable for all aspects of engagement level audit delivery including risk assessment, reporting and engagement level evaluation of staff as well as manage delivery, calibration and quality of theme audit activity for Group Functions. It is your responsibility to maintain the highest quality of work and adherence to Group Audit Principles Based Engagement Standards. You direct and/or deliver special projects as they arise such as high level management reviews, other regulatory investigations and other special, often sensitive, assignments at the request of Boards and Audit Committees. Another of you responsibilities is the coordination of audit work by external parties including external auditors and regulators. Moreover you complete the Group Functions audit plan and other projects you direct resources also to provide resource to assist other Group Audit projects as required. Additionally you analyse, propose and recommend changes to policies and procedures in order to maintain the structure of internal controls and conform to applicable external regulations. Furthermore you stay current with changes in the industry and analyse the impact of those changes on the business. You are responsible for the supervision, development and evaluation of Group Functions staff members at engagement level.
We are looking for a person who is likely to be a senior manager or director from practice or Financial Services industry (insurance or banking) with a significant knowledge of key technical areas within relevant Finance, Risk or Investment Management areas (15+ years in the industry) and a qualified accountant/auditor with 10+ years PQE. In Addition you should have additional quantitative / analytical experience and qualifications - such as the CFA. Furthermore this position requires experience at senior levels within large, complex organizations. You are fluent in written and spoken English.
