Manpower Professional is looking for a full time permanent Production Control Assistant for a South Side Edmonton client who has an immediate opening in their operations. Our client is a top 50 Canadian employer being a world leader in the development and production of advanced heating and filtration solutions for industrial and hazardous area applications.
As a member of this team, you will be primarily responsible for, but not limited to:
*Work with Plant Manager to ensure that customer orders are filled and that the plant has sufficient stock to meet client needs
*Engrave and issue name plates based on production schedule
*Compile job order information for the job floor
*Conduct inventory counts as required
*Data entry and other duties required for production control functions and inventory control as assigned by Productions Control Manager
The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:
*Strong communication and organizational skills
*Strong mathematical skills, accuracy and a propensity to remember numbers
*Must be proficient in MS Office applications also having a working knowledge of Material requirements planning (MRP) based manufacturing systems
*Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
