QA Assembler 3

DUTIES:
·         Accurately perform work per, work order instructions, and any other procedures or instructions required in work orders.
·         Demonstrate knowledge of production inventory management such as proper handling of materials.
·         Verify all part numbers and match correct numbers to sales orders and/or pack lists.
·         Properly move and store products in an efficient and safe manner.
·         Load / Unload freight and verify for accuracy, damage and infestation, if required.
·         Basic knowledge of crane operation, is required.
·         Operate and maintain equipment in department in a safe and productive manner.
·         Operate and perform testing and final witness inspections according to all applicable blue prints, work instructions, sales orders, and special instructions.
·         Interpret Bills of Materials, Blue Prints, and Diagrams
·         Perform more complicated dimensional measurements with gauges such as depth mic, calipers, inside diameter/outside diameter mic.
·         Interface with suppliers as required, support internal QA records and files
·         Interface with outside inspectors as required.
·         Cross capable on gauge calibration and supporting systems
·         Verify all part numbers, heat numbers and match correct numbers to sales orders and work orders
·         Interact with production employees, and management in the execution of day to day job tasks.
·         Demonstrate a dedicated responsibility and compliance with all safety and quality policies, specifications, regulations, and instructions.
·         Accurately log all part numbers and their location movements and verify that the Material Requirement Planning (MRP) system is updated in less than one hour of all moves.
·         Perform cycle counts and audit to verify inventory accuracy and report all results.
·         Pick orders for shipments including picking and packing various kits.
·         Perform all required computer inventory management transactions, work order completions, identify and report system errors, and verify completed products comply with customer requirements provided on sales order documentation.
·         Assist in the solution of complex plant operating problems and/or cost reduction projects.
·          Perform all general shop tasks assigned by supervisor or any other duties assigned by management.
·         Cross trained in all QA, warehouse product groups, shipping and receiving departments
·         Maintains material handling equipment as required
 
 

Additional Responsibilities:
 
Receive all incoming materials into host system, Cycle count inventory for accuracy,
Material handling within inventory area, Pull inventory for work orders, Kit spare parts orders by schedule, Load and unload trucks
Perform QA function on incoming/process materials, handle supplier certs, create in-house certs
Box product for shipping, Able to assist in assembly if required
 
REQUIREMENTS: Education, Skills, and Experience
·         US citizen only
·         High School Diploma or equivalent.
·         Follow verbal and written instructions.
·         Read and interpret work orders, specifications, and procedures.
·         Forklift driver's license.
·         QA/QC processes
·         5S Training
·         Minimum of 12 months experience as a Material Handler 2 and QA.
