Quality Engineer Job in Eaton 45320, Ohio Us
Dayton area manufacturing company is seeking a contract Quality Engineer.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret engineering drawings and specifications including Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing
• Understanding of ISO 9001:2008 requirements
• Data base management skills
• Three to five years of progressive related work experience
• Knowledge of engineering principles as well as quality principles
• Knowledge of quality assurance tools and methods utilized for manufacturing processes
• Must understand and be able to use applied mathematics and statistics
• Must be able to effectively interact with people within the organization and outside organizations
• Must be able to use computer systems, (Ex. MS Word, MS Excel, Access, PowerPoint), 1 to 3 years work experience
• Able to demonstrate analytical skills to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
• Understanding of SPC and its application in the manufacturing environment
• Certification as an ASQ quality engineer, auditor, quality manager, etc. is desirable
• Certification in Six Sigma as a Green Belt or Black Belt is desirable.
BS degree in an Engineering related field.
