QUALITY ENGINEER A leading manufacturer and developer of tier one, safety critical automotive systems, supplied to major OEMs including Jaguar Land Rover, Honda, Toyota and BMW is seeking an experienced Quality Engineer to support product quality adherence, project quality activity (APQP/PPAP) and general root cause problem solving/warranty support. The Role This is a permanent and salaried position reporting directly into the Quality Manager and is focused on ensuring successful delivery into the customer of a tested and verified, safety critical product. Key areas of focus include supporting root cause problem solving/8D activity, warranty concerns and general project quality activity for new product introduction/prototyping. The Person The ideal candidate will be a degree-qualified (preferred but NOT essential) automotive Quality Engineer with a proven record in first tier component assembly and manufacturing. Experience within complex electro-mechanical assemblies is highly beneficial in addition to exposure to Jaguar Land Rover, Honda, Toyota or BMW in-house quality systems. The Package This is a permanent role with a salary of circa ?37,000 p.a. in addition to an excellent contributory pension scheme and generous holiday scheme.
