Italian multinational Group, world leader in Hydraulic and Industrial Hose and Fittings, for its manufacturing facilities in Johor, Malaysia, would like to invite suitably qualified candidates for the position of :

 

Quality Manager

in Malaysia

(Rif. 2)

 

the successful candidate will be based in Malaysia, with the responsibility for applying and implementing the principles of TQM and Continuous Improvement in the Plant in accordance with the policies which are shared with Quality Director and the Plant Management.

 

The position is located in Johor, Malaysia.

 

Duties and responsabilities:

 

-          Management Customer complaints through the 8D model (analysis and corrective actions) and their statistical analysis;

-          Management of the Internal NC’s, corrective actions through PDCA model and database;

-          Control and organize the quality operators’ jobs;

-          Management warehouses of competence and the various locations;

-          Lead and Update of Flow harts – Control Plans - P-FMEA based on above;

-          Lead the application of SPC techniques and tools in the company;

-          Support to upgrading Internal procedures on the bases of implemented corrective actions;

-          Train and inform the Plant’s “First Levels” regarding the use of tools and techniques of RCCA and problem solving;

-          Apply PPAP a APQP methodology;

-          Create Customer certificates as needed;

-          Contribute in the industrialization process and product validation;

-          Contribute in the management of relationships with external suppliers (performance evaluation, qualification, implementation, corrective actions);

-          Process audit and audit system in accordance with the TQM AG;

-          Quality Metric Management;

-          Quality Corner Management; 

-          Analysis of qualitative data and formulation of improvement plans

 

Requirements/Skills:

 

-          University degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent qualification;

-          Knowledge and experience in APQP and PPAP  methodology;

-          Experience in using Statistical tools including FMEA, SPC, SixSigma;

-          Ability to sustain technical conversation and meeting with customer and suppliers;

-          Good English both written and spoken;

-          Willing to travel;

-          Autonomy in work planning and priority setting, resistance to stress, team builder approach;

-          Advance skills in MS Office applications.

 

An attractive remuneration package will be offered to suitable candidate who is willing to be relocated medium to long term in Asia.
