We are seeking an RF Engineer Subject Matter Expert (SME) to support the Department of Defense in providing detailed knowledge of applicable DoD policies/directives and RF dependent ground and air systems (e.g., communications, robots, unmanned platforms, intelligence, reconnaissance and surveillance systems, electronic countermeasures, etc.), RF compatibility/interoperability, RF mapping/deconfliction, spectrum management/certification, RF jamming, and electronic attack authorization.

Required Experience:

Must have knowledge of military organizations, operations, RF jamming, and decision making process.

Bachelors Degree in Science, Math, Engineering and 10+ years of experience.

Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must possess an active SSBI which requires US citizenship.

Desired Skills:

Relevant tactical platform experience, that is – fielded, recent generation CREW systems and their in-theater employment (RF mapping / deconfliction, spectrum management and electronic attack authorization). CREW systems, operations and policy experience is more the emphasis than an actual radio frequency engineer. So being a former EWO-type is a plus as is being well rounded, having professional experience in electronic attack and having ridden in tactical vehicles with jammers.
