Risk and Compliance Manager, APAC – Global Organization recruitment

The Role
Reporting to the Finance Director, APAC, you will be fully responsible for:

• Developing and implementing a risk based compliance monitoring mechanism within the firm for APAC region
• Introducing monitoring activities to assess the standard of compliance with relevant rules and principles
• Developing the Risk and Compliance Management information and Incident Reporting processes to track progress and compliance level
• Conducting client site audit according to business requirement in collaboration with relevant internal and external stakeholders
• Collaborating with business to identify key measures to improve sites based on audit results
• Contributing to Business Continuity planning activities within the Group
• Maintaining knowledge database of compliance and other applicable regulatory matter through the connection with Group Risk and Compliance team and regulatory bodies
• Driving corporate culture and support business in to operate within a ‘risk based compliance culture’

The Successful Applicant
You will be a University Graduate holding a degree in law and/or economics preferred with at least 8 years’ experience gained within a Compliance function. You will possess sound knowledge of risk and compliance as well as legal and code requirements. It is important that you show ability to express complex risk and compliance matters to general employees and senior management. Therefore, strong communication, analytical and leadership skills for this role are essential. Hands on experience with business processes and business continuity will be an advantage. Fluency in English and Mandarin, both written and spoken is desirable.
