Risk and Regulation Programme Manager – In-House Consultancy – EMIR Regs, Dodd Frank and FATCA

This role is based within an Internal Consultancy, working on Risk and Regulation projects and Programmes.

The successful candidate will be working on building a platform to implement new regulation across the bank.

They will also need to implement new risk management standards across the business, ensuring the correct guidelines are issued internally. Despite my client preferring candidates from a ‘Big 4’ Management Consultancy background, they would still consider individuals that have demonstrated a successful career in managing large scale regulation focussed change programmes within industry (banking experience only).

All candidates are to have the following skills sets:

• Deep Capital Markets expertise

• Ability to lead delivery of change within Capital Markets

• Risk Management within Capital Markets and supporting strategies

• Expertise within Risk Measurement methodologies

• Delivering Change and Transformation Projects and Programmes

• Senior stakeholder interaction

• Credibility and ability to deliver under pressure

• Critical thinking, smart and concise communication and structured reasoning

As you are a part of an internal consultancy, the successful candidate will need to convince the business that they will be able to own a project and deliver on-time and to budget. They will screen candidates based of their ability to engage with internal stake holders and are able to support internal sales opportunities.
