Risk Assurance Manager Wanted for Leading Investment Manager recruitment

Deliverables:                                                                           

1.       Jointly responsible, with the Senior Assurance Manager, for completion of the control testing programme. 

2.       Oversee the effective resolution of loss events, ensuring correct escalation and reporting requirements are fulfilled, resolution supports TCF principles and business learnings are secured. 

4.       Proactive and forward looking advice for business stakeholders, informally or in governance forums, to ensure key risk and client fairness factors are taken into account in periods of business change. Assess KRI’s for the respective business area and assess methods of enhancing risk controls.

 5.     Support the constructive and productive operation of Risk Review Forums, external and internal risk event learnings to ensure a clear audit trail and action tracking.  

6.      Responsible for the review and approval of significant business process changes, escalating matters of concern to the Senior Assurance Manager, as appropriate.

Experience:

•        A working knowledge of the key product, process, system and external risks which impact the business areas.

•        A working knowledge of the products and transactions within the product area.

•        A working knowledge of Operational risk principles and regulatory rules and guidance as relevant to the business area.
