Senior Finance Manager
My client is seeking a Senior Finance Manager to lead and manage the Corporate Treasury Financial Control Capital team. Accountabilities will include ensuring all SPVs, capital books and other complex transactions are appropriately controlled and compliant with all reporting requirements.
Responsibilities will be to:
* Manage the FC capital team to ensure all SPVs, capital books and other complex transactions are compliant with all Group financial and external reporting requirements
* Manage the FC capital team to ensure a robust control environment and culture is maintained and appropriate judgement is applied at all times. Ensure balance sheet fully substantiated and all E2E controls and reconciliations performed.
* Provide leadership and management to ensure the FC capital team is operating at peak performance, delivering all requirements to a high standard, is motivated, challenged and being developed.
* Continuously review processes to drive efficiencies.
* Provide insightful information, guidance and advice to influence business decisions
* Manage stakeholder expectation, especially at key reporting periods. Ensure any issues are flagged ahead of time, be proactive in identifying issues and providing constructive solutions
* Build strong relationship with internal and external stakeholders.
Experience:
* Qualified accountant or equivalent
* Excellent understanding of banking treasury business and their key performance drivers
* Good technical accounting knowledge for financial products and strong financial reporting skills
* Managing and led successful FC teams
