Specific Job Description Empowered Official for multiple programs with high volume and complex licensing including JV Programs; Develops comprehensive licensing plans and provides guidance for marketing strategy and program planning; Provides guidance and training to program personnel daily; Accurately interprets Corporate policy and Government regulations; Develops and manage submission and execution of licenses, agreements, exemption authorizations, transaction exceptions, and other regulatory approvals. Develop and provide specific compliance training, including training on agreement limitations and provisos; Coordinate with Corporate ITC office on submittals and USG inquiries; Support compliance assessment and audits; Travel as required to field locations and provide export compliance guidance and advice. Ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to confidently work and make independent decisions as well as work in teams. Candidate should have excellent conflict resolutions skills. Standard Job Description Interprets federal, state and/or international regulations as they apply to products, processes, practices and procedures related to international trade activities, including international logistics and USG jurisdictional authority and licensing requirements. This classification is reserved for employees who serve as empowered officials with corporate delegation, empowered to sign license applications or other requests for approval with independent authority to enquire into any aspect of a proposed import/export to verify the transaction legality. Maintains compliance with federal and foreign regulations governing the shipment, receipt and documentation of imported/exported products. Investigates and resolves compliance problems, questions, or complaints received from customers, government regulatory agencies or internal contacts. Develops and implements policies and procedures to ensure compliance with appropriate statutes, regulations, and corporate policies. Ensures regulatory reporting requirements are met. Establishes requirements for license generation, license generation tracking, and support of submitted licenses throughout U.S. Government review and approval process and program license management. Develops and implements compliance programs and tools designed to increase awareness and knowledge of compliance policies, laws and regulations. Audits policies, procedures, and documentation for compliance with government laws and regulations.
