Senior Palm Oil Trader
Leading Investment Bank seeks an experienced physical palm oil trader to join their team and run the Asian book across both paper and physical markets.
Responsibilities for the role:
- Develop profitable edible oils book focussing on the Asian markets.
- Work alongside Head of Oilseeds trading to assist in rapid growth plans across APAC.
- Responsible for building and developing new clients and business activities for the company as well as maintaining strong relationships with our existing clients.
- Expand exposure across physical markets as well as maintaining market leading position on the paper markets.
- Conduct client meetings, deliver sales presentations, collaborate with the company?s business teams to capture on new business opportunities.
Skills - Attributes required for the role:
- 5+ years of palm oil-edible oil trading experience.
- Prop trading experience is preferable.
- Physical experience is essential.
- Asian language skills are advantageous.
- Willing to locate in Singapore.
