Position Details:
The Software Developer Senior will have specialized knowledge of software development technology, processes, and methodologies to architect, design, develop, and support Experian's proprietary software products and the environments they operate in. They will have advanced knowledge of multiple operating systems, application servers, relational databases, and middleware that is used throughout the software development life cycle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and development of Experian Decision Analytics proprietary software and client customization of delivered software.
- Web Application Server, Database, and Middleware support of application runtime environments.
- Operating System support and stress testing/performance benchmarking.
- Client Delivery support including onsite client facing installation, troubleshooting, and design sessions.
Requirements:
- Bachelors or higher degree classification in Computer Science or synonymous technical field required.
- 5 years of single role or combined experience in a software development, systems engineering, or other related technical role.
- 5 years of Java or Enterprise Java experience required.
- Expert knowledge of Web Services, SOAP and other XML based technologies.
- Strong knowledge of IBM WebSphere App Server or Oracle WebLogic.
- Strong knowledge of UNIX based operating systems and scripting.
- Strong knowledge of Oracle or MS SQL.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstration of the ability to articulate technical items to customers and internal business units is strongly preferred.
- Knowledge of C/C++ preferred.
- Knowledge of IBM WebSphere MQ series preferred.
