Shared Data Coordinator

The Wayne-Finger Lakes Board of Cooperative Educational Services (BOCES), an educational service agency located in Newark, New York has immediate openings for shared data coordinators to work in multiple school districts in support of our Educational Technology Department.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Working with multiple districts in our eight county region acting as the central point of contact for student and teacher data collection activities in the school district. Developing a means of ongoing communication between and within the district, both during the data process; collection, loading, and the State data verification. Facilitate meetings with the district data team, setting expectations, defining roles and responsibilities and provide ongoing support for the team.

Work collaboratively with district data entry staff, department or building administrators, and the district superintendent to understand and disseminate information. Understand and communicate data time lines regarding loading source data, making corrections to data, and verification of data. Coordinate data collection and error resolution activities; coordinate activities needed to ensure required data entry is completed accurately. Assist districts understand reporting what is available.

Associates or Bachelors degree is required to be considered for the position, teacher certification preferred. Strong communications and facilitation skills are essential. Preference will be given to candidates who have worked with New York State Education Department student assessment data. These are 12 month positions.

Salary: $45,000 - $64,000
