Shop Service Technician Job in Cincinnati 45011, Ohio US
Job Summary
Repair and maintain all equipment sold and serviced by Bobcat Enterprises, Inc. at an intermediate level.
Specific Duties Responsibilities
· Ability to repair or overhaul all equipment sold by BEI with a minimum supervision.
· Provide all own tools.
· Diagnose mechanical, electrical and hydraulic problems on compact construction and utility equipment.
· Correct problems using proven repair and trouble-shooting methods.
· Fill out parts request and job progress reports timely and accurately.
· Check and re-fill equipment fluid levels.
· Load and unload equipment.
· Keep all rental equipment operating properly.
· Use preventative maintenance techniques to avoid “breakdowns”.
· When cleaning equipment, look for loose or missing fasteners, parts, etc.
· After cleaning equipment, thoroughly check operation of equipment.
· Lubricate all moving parts properly with grease/oil.
· Conduct routine equipment safety check.
· Provide excellent customer service, communicating with customers regarding the equipment’s operation and repair.
· Maintain a clean and safe working area and correct any unsafe conditions or practices.
· Ensure that hazardous materials are handled appropriately.
· Up sell other services.
· Work at a minimum of 80% of the standard time guides set by the manufacturers for warranty and 85% of company quotes.
· At the intermediate level of the mechanics scale, mechanics will be expected to diagnose and perform most jobs with little supervision and meet both quality and quantity standards.
· Will be reviewed periodically and will be eligible to advance to mechanic level III when performing at the intermediate standard of mechanic level II and completing appropriate technical classes listed below.
