Waste Connections is currently looking for an Entry-level Site Laborer/Technician at West Vancouver Material Recovery in Vancouver, WA. In this position, you will performing simple maintenance tasks such as greasing the conveyer belt, cleaning the bearings, light bulb replacement, moving boxes, litter control, cleaning out trough in our wash rack pad, shop sweeping/cleaning, running parts, and operating equipment at times. Some past mechanical experience is preferred, as you may have the opportunity to be trained to perform light maintenance on our equipment.
This is a full-time position, pays $10 per hour and is a Tues-Sat day shift. During the training period, you will be on a Mon-Fri 4:30 am-12:30 pm schedule.

- Clean driving record
- At least 1 year of work experience, preferably in a laborer position
- The ability to continually lift different types of material through out an 8 hr shift
- Mechanical ability strongly preferred
