SITE SUPERVISOR Job in California US

Air Products and Chemicals, Inc. (NYSE:APD), a Fortune 500 manufacturer of industrial gases and chemicals, is seeking an experienced Site Supervisor for its Wilmington, CA site.

The Site Supervisor role is a key member of the management team for the Southern California HYCO facilities. This position will supplement the existing Site Supervisor positions for the Wilmington and Carson, California, plants. The successful candidate will build strong relationships with the plant and regional support teams as well as contractors. The position reports to the Plant Manager of the Carson and Wilmington facilities.

Key responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to:

• Safety performance, reduction of recordable injuries, BSP compliance and process safety management
• Achieving environmental compliance targets
• Support of all aspects of the day-to-day operation, including supervising operators and maintenance technicians
• Provide support to SoCal TGEE pipeline system
• Providing back-up for the existing Carson and Wilmington Site Supervisors
• Oversight of customer billing and natural gas nomination activities

Qualifications/Requirements:

- Bachelors degree in Engineering is preferred, but not required
- Strong manufacturing/production background and experience
