Consumer Media Network (CMN.com) is looking for a full-time social media associate to work in its downtown Houston office. The job requires timely, targeted postings and updates to Twitter, Google+ and Facebook accounts on the topics of higher education, online education and consumer advocacy, and a background in or familiarity with these fields is preferred. The ideal candidate will maintain and pursue strong, dynamic relationships with industry contacts and the general public on a daily basis while assisting with social promotion projects as necessary. The ability to communicate material in an engaging, positive, creative way is vital, as is a passion for social media and building personal connections. Previous experience running Twitter and Facebook accounts for professional/business purposes preferred.
Additional requirements:
