SOLICITOR Cairns Community Legal Centre Inc Part Time - Approx 3-4 days pw Approx. $59 000 - 64 000 pa gross (pro rata) plus 9% super. Salary sacrificing available for eligible employees - increases "take home" pay. Above award working conditions also apply. The Cairns Community Legal Centre Inc is a government funded not for profit community organisation for socially and financially disadvantaged members of the community. The Centre seeks a Solicitor to fill a temporary part time position until 30 September 2012. The position may be reoffered after that time for a further temporary or ongoing period. The Solicitor"s role is to provide information, referrals, advice work, casework, community legal education and law reform work across a range of areas of law including family law, criminal law, employment law, guardianship and other matters. Applicants must be eligible to hold a practising certificate. Minimum 6 - 12 months post admission experience an advantage.
