- Support new product development process for Supply Chain Integration (SCI) activities.
- Participate in product line management teams and represent Supply Management (SM).
- Own all cost targets and performance for new product component and bundles.
- Interface Enterprise and Divisional supply base managers for sourcing new product components and bundles.
- Identify tooling, capacities, and supplier alignment for new programs.
- Support design changes and improvements to current products.
What It Takes
- 3 years experience in Supply Management, Engineering, Manufacturing or other related product development role.
- Understanding of Order Fulfillment/new product development processes.
- Demonstrated proficiency with MS Office and desktop applications.
- Strong conflict resolution and negotiation skills.
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 15% (domestic/international), based on business needs.
A strong candidate will also have:
- Demonstrated experience in Supply Management, preferably with Supply Chain Integration.
- Experience with Quality systems.
- Experience with SAP transactions.
- Experience in Target Costing and total cost solution activity.
- Experience in electrical and hydraulic sourcing or design.
- Experience within EPDP phase outputs and C-Project management
- Ability to read and interpret part prints and engineering drawings.
- Solid team environment experience.
