Supply Chain Operation Manger
Our clients, a multi-national Supply Chain and Logistics Outsource Solutions provider, are looking to recruit an experienced Supply Chain and Logistics Operations Manager for a rewarding and Challenging role.
The role:
· Responsible for designing Logistics Assembly solutions that the firm can offer to its prospects and customers that are above market standards.
· Will actively participate in the sales and business development process.
· Provide leadership and coordination on the Continuous Improvement initiatives in the region
· Write commercial proposal documentation on the designed solutions.
· Participate in client meetings and calls to support or lead the sale of the designed solutions.
· Support the implementation of designed solutions after a successful closure of the sales process.
· Interact actively with the other Industrial and Logistics engineers within the firm’s community to share best practices. Advise (sometimes participate) in internal continuous improvement projects.
· Contribute actively to knowledge development of World Class Manufacturing methods within the company and keep up to date with relevant developments.
The Candidate:
· Master degree in industrial/operations engineering or an MBA with a focus in Operations Management strongly preferred with Bachelor’s degree required.
· Minimum 5-7 years of experience in relevant positions and environments.
· Certified (Master) Black Belt in Lean Six Sigma.
· Good knowledge of ERP and relevant software applications
· Proven client facing experience
· Knowledge of Statistic Process Control
