Ketek Group has immediate openings for individuals who proudly call themselves “Jack/Jill of All Trades” who are able to professionally represent our company in the field. Ketek provides a variety of niche products and services to oilfield, oilsands, manufacturing and construction clients.
To be successful, the candidate must demonstrate considerable experience in at least three of the following areas:
· Mechanical
· Millwright
· Electrical
· Welding
· Plumbing
· Carpentry
· Oil and Gas production
· Construction
· Mining/Drilling
In addition to the above requirements candidates must possess self-motivation as well as a high quality customer service orientation.
Incumbents must be willing to travel from their home base of Edmonton Alberta to remote locations throughout Western Canada, primarily Northern Alberta and Northern British Columbia. Ketek is a 24/7 critical site services company and therefore work must be performed in any and all weather conditions.
Education
Accredited trade or technical training is desirable.
Credentials
Qualified candidates will receive all necessary safety training. Assets include:
- First Aid Certificate;
- Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate,
- and Hydrogen Sulphide Awareness Certificate.
Health, Safety and Security
Once qualified candidate may require proof of the following:
- Tetanus, Hepatitis A and B vaccinations
- Pre-job drug testing;Physical demands analysis (medical); and
- Driver's validity license check (abstract).
Own Tools/Equipment
Ketek provides all necessary tools and personal protective equipment with the exception of steel-toed CSA approved work boots.
Work Site Environment
Outdoors, Noisy, Odors, Long hours and very physically demanding work.
