SURGERY SCHEDULER Job in Columbus 43214, Ohio US
The Surgery Scheduler is responsible for scheduling complex surgical and diagnostic testing procedures for a busy, multi-surgeon practice affiliated with OhioHealth. The scheduler acts as liaison between surgeon and patient during the process to ensure needs of each are met. Responsible for the preparation and submission of all written orders, insurance precertification, oversees and reviews preadmission testing, and accounts for all surgical films. Schedules procedures in accordance with current JCAHO criterion and Ohio Health regulations.
Knowledge of medical terminology and surgical procedures helpful. Will consider experienced Medical Assistant or LNP.
