Responsibilities:
We are looking for a Software Engineer to develop key portions of the Victrio Fraud platform and infrastructure. We’re looking for someone excited about designing and building scalable, highly available and robust solutions that are focused on our Customers’ needs. Also, we’re looking for someone that’s passionately collaborative and obsessed with continuous improvement.
As an early member of the Engineering team, you will contribute to architecture, design, and development. You’ll use python, javascript, java, web and messaging services, machine learning technologies, relational databases, and more.
Requirements:
- B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science or related fields
- Experience with python and/or java
- Experience developing distributed systems (client-server, peer-based, web services, message based)
- Familiarity with web frameworks (e.g. pylons) a plus
- Linux or Unix OS experience
- Good knowledge of SQL
- Effective communicator, great team player, structured thinker, great problem solver
- Thrive in a fast-paced environment
