As System Analyst ERP (Finance, Supply Chain, Sourcing), you will join the existing ERP IS Team.
Your focus will be to identify and define software solutions, for internal ERP users. You will follow-up the delivery, by the external Supplier, of these solutions. You ensure the proper integration and support in the ‘Live’ environment.

As a System Analyst ERP:

- You work out solutions for internal users
During the DEFINE phase, you analyze the business requirements and related business processes (or use cases), to identify the ‘best’ solution and to produce the functional specifications.
You consult with your colleagues (business analysts, IT architects and end-users) and with the external Software Integrator, to reach an agreement amongst all stakeholders, on the best solution, from different dimensions: conformity with business requirements, IT architecture objectives (eg maximum flexibility over long term), and cost effectiveness.
You follow-up market trends. You identify relevant items from the roadmap of the Software Vendor (eg Oracle eBusiness), and you evaluate these opportunities with IT business analysts and with internal users.

- You deliver solutions for the users
For the BUILD phase, you evaluate and review the Software Integrator’s proposal from a solution perspective and from a cost perspective.
You review and validate the Detailed Functional Design document, delivered by the Supplier’s team.
You supervise the implementation of the solution by the external Software Integrator’s team. You control and verify the quality of the associated deliverables.
You prepare the testing, by developing the integration and the acceptance test plan (for functional, performance and operability tests).
For some types of changes (e.g. minor, urgent changes), you configure the changes yourself on the system, together with your colleagues of Business Support (for business administration tasks on the Live system), and your colleagues of Application Operations (for technical setup tasks).

- You make the solution integration to a success
For the DEPLOY phase, you secure the technical integration, by coordinating necessary actions with your colleagues of Business Support, Application Operations, or Infrastructure Operations (servers, databases).
You describe all necessary action (including possible roll-back) on the step-by-step deployment plan.
You ensure the handover/knowledge transfer for the ‘In-Life’ phase, by providing the necessary documentation and explanations to your colleagues of Business Support and Application Operations.
You provide assistance to the acceptance testing phases and after launch (babysitting period).
For the ‘In-Life’ phase, you ensure third level application support, in case your colleagues from Business Support or Application Operations require extra advice.
