Responsibilities

Supports and initiates the design and development of electrical distribution systems in support of both internal (C3P/Systems Management) and external (Chrysler Company) customer.

 

1.      Review approved customer Product Direction Letter (PDL) for vehicle program to identify electrical sub-system content expected from the customer design review process.

2.      Review approved Product Option List for the vehicle program and verify consistency with PDL.

3.      Update the Logical Schematics received from Chrysler. Use Option Tags to support the Option and Variant Manager (OVM).

4.      Design a set of full vehicle Physical Schematics based on input from Logical Schematics and Layouts. Release those to Chrysler.

5.      Support Chrysler Analysis as needed.

6.      Support Chrysler Systems Engineer as needed, e.g. Design Transmittal updates.

7.      Maintains a professional demeanor at all times.

8.      Maintains safety and housekeeping at all times.

 

Qualifications

1.      B.A. or B.S. degree

2.      Knowledge of EDS circuit analysis, Chrysler EDS systems, and System design requirements.

3.      Good Knowledge of Wire Harness

4.      Minimum 5 years related experience

5.      Strong knowledge of Chrysler processes/systems (TransDesign, Metaphase, etc).

6.      Detailed knowledge of EDS design/manufacturing Systems Engineering process.

7.      Strong communication skills. Good English language skills, both written and verbal.

8.      Successful completion of program launch.
