Job Description Opportunity provides Tier 1 2 Sustainment Support; SW Loads, Installations, Patch Management, Deployment, Configuration Management, Sparing, and Certification Accreditation to deployed state-of-the-art Intelligence system(s). Said systems are in the forefront of the Intelligence Community mission and offer technical exposure to and experience in the full spectrum of collection and processing - the initial phases of the technical intelligence cycle. Work will be co-located with HW and SW engineering professionals and personnel with diverse skill sets dedicated to sustaining this all important mission. (U) Work Role: Oversees as well as installs, tests, and validates operational software as specified by installation standards, manufacturer's guidance and safety codes; maintains a much broader knowledge of the system than junior technicians. Conduct on the job training for co-workers. (U) Experience Requirement: Five years experience integrating systems using multiple operating systems (Solaris, Linux, and Windows) and developing and implementing test plans and test scripts; Experience performing all aspects of the integration and test of the system including installing the hardware into the racks, labeling cables, running cables, building the system to drawing package, quality assurance, loading operating system, loading applications, and all levels of testing in regard to the system. Candidate shall have a Bachelor's Degree in Communications Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Systems or Mathematics. TU0812
