Things you need to have:

·         Demonstrated expertise to troubleshoot, comprehend, analyze and research issues and provide recommendations for client issues.

·         Demonstrated good communication on a variety of levels, verbally and written including team collaboration skills with the ability to prioritize.

·         B.S. degree in Computer Science or related field

·         Expertise supporting and maintaining 24x7 hosted application environments.

·         Proficient UNIX/Linux administration experience including UNIX shell scripting.

·         Windows environment (including networking, and security) experience.

·         Experience with LAN/WAN and related technologies including DNS, SSL, HTTP, TCP, etc.

·         Experience working with network and storage environments including VPNs, load balancers, clustering, multi-site, firewalls, etc.

·         Experience designing and maintaining SaaS environment for high-availability, OLTP, reliability, scalability and security based on n-tier architectures.

·         Experience implementing data and security access standards and guidelines.

·         Web based application support experience.

·         Knowledge of Java web development including J2EE and excellent understanding of OOD.

·         Knowledge of network architecture and security principles including attack mitigation practices.

What you will be doing:

The Systems Engineer will be designing, configuring, administering and troubleshooting complex systems infrastructure/architecture in a high-availability SaaS (software as a service) production environment. This position will work with UNIX/Linux and Windows based environments, designing, implementing and troubleshooting multi-tier software applications, working with enterprise database systems and, implementing and troubleshooting network and security environments including monitoring production equipment in an offsite data center.  This position must have experience with SaaS architecture, integration testing and performance tuning.
