Systems Integrator 2 Job in Mclean, Virginia Us

Northrop Grumman Information Systems is searching for a systems integrator to support the Common Ground program, a Joint Concepts Technology Demonstration. The selected candidate will plan and integrate geospatial analysis capabilities into the Common Ground system, which is designed to assist military planners create a common understanding for the effects of terrain and weather on military operations.

The selected candidate will implement integration solutions and create test and requirements documentation for system/subsystem components, evaluate enterprise requirements and architectures, and establish functional and technical specifications and standards that interface with enterprise level hardware/software. This position will be located in McLean, VA. Some local travel will be involved.

Basic Qualifications:

A bachelor's degree in computer sciences/engineering or related field and 2 years of experience in systems design, integration, or support is required (0 years with related Masters). Four additional years of experience may be substituted for the degree requirement. Total years of combined education and/or experience must be at least 6 years.

Domain experience with Networks and Communication systems is required. Excellent oral and written communication skills are required. A Secret clearance is required to start work, with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI clearance. Must be a U.S. Citizen.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience as a Topographic or Intelligence Analyst is desired. Experience in RHEL systems administration (NFS sharing and building RPSs, Windows 7 Operating System, domain administration, active directory, Windows Server 2003 and 2008, IIS configuration, IAVA development and releases, and IA server and network hardening protocols) is also desired.
