Due to promotion, we currently have an opportunity for a Tax Accountant to join our Corporate Tax Team. The professional in this role will have a specific focus on fuel and property tax. Specific responsibilities include: Property tax responsibilities, including coordinating with third party vendor in preparation of returns Fuel tax responsibilities, including preparation of monthly/quarterly returns Assistance with check request completion in support of remittance needs of the tax department Research related to property/fuel tax issues Working closely with fuel procurement and fixed asset department in coordinating fuel/property tax compliance function. Assistance in resolving tax notices and other correspondence received from taxing authorities Support real estate appeal function, as needed
