Tour Guide Manager Job in Boston 02110, Massachusetts US

The successful candidate will be responsible for handling all Program Services functions to achieve overall Program Excellence Goals for our Canada and U.S. programs. In addition, this candidate will manage Program Director’s performance to achieve overall Program Excellence and Learning and Discovery goals.

Responsibilities include:
• Scheduling, confirming and communicating with 40 plus Program Directors
• Raise and resolve hot issues with Products and Vendors
• Provide consistent updates of Excellence to Hotels and Vendors to improve Quality
• Support with coaching Program Directors to meet standard guidelines
• Support with hiring, training and maintaining excellent Program Directors
• Order, prepare, send out and review tour packets for Program Directors as per company guidelines. Including status updates and rooming lists.
• Monitor Excellence thru comments, scores and direct traveler feedback.
• Maintain, update and copy program information for Trip Packets
• Update various weekly reports in Excel Word
• Support with solving problems on site and communicating urgent issues

Requirements:

Qualifications:
• Required: minimum 4 6 years tour operator background with experience working with Program Directors
• Prefer candidate with guiding experience
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
• Extremely Organized
• Able to solve problems
• Able to handle multiple tasks and prioritize
• Proven ability to motivate and manage people
