Trade Finance-Director

The Role:

To increase market share and revenues through the further development of the Banks client base.

To develop and execute a strategy for trade origination in Europe.

By working closely with colleagues to originate trade opportunities across all the Banks client relationship management teams.

To execute Trade Finance opportunities including the preparation of credit justification and alleviation of any credit policy implications through the application of highly developed risk analysis and credit skills.

To Contribute to product development and management activities.

To maintain strong working relationships with all areas of the Bank in order to cross-sell the Banks products and to identify revenue generating opportunities.

To ensure product solutions are aligned with regulatory and institutional requirements.

To maximize returns across the Bank by selling the bank's network capabilities to clients or potential clients.

 

 

 

 

Candidates:

Will be experienced Trade Financers having gained and developed relevant transferable skills and experience in the Trade Finance department of a leading Financial institution. Consideration will also be given to candidates from Commodity Trading houses and to Corporate Bankers who have extensive trade Finance product experience.
