Trade Finance Senior Manager
My client is are looking for an experienced trade finance candidate to step up into a supervisory/ managerial role and maintain and develop client relationships internally and externally, process LC's and guarantees to join their team in Surrey.
Duties:
* Relationship management- Maintaining/developing relationships and business opportunities
* Processing LCs and Guarantees and Documentary Collections in accordance with ICC publications; Uniform Customs and Practice for Documentary Credits (UCP600) Uniform Rules for Demand Guarantees (URDG758), International Standby Practice (ISP98) and Uniform Rules for Collections (URC522)
* Authorising the issuance/confirmation of L/Cs and Guarantees
* First and second checking of document presentations
* Maintaining compliance
* SWIFT Alliance
* Monitoring and maintaining records of the Bank's contingent trade finance exposure
* Management reporting
* Managing the Trade Finance team and deputising in the absence of the Head of Trade Finance
* Promoting and developing the Bank's services
Requirements:
* Sound knowledge of all Trade Finance products, e.g., export and import collections, transferable LCs, Assignments, Discounting, import and export LCs, standby LCs etc…..
* Knowledge of relevant ICC rules
* Awareness of HM Treasury, EU and OFAC sanction regulations
* SWIFT messaging
* Knowledge of KYC/ Due Diligence
