Our retail and treasury operations began in Ireland in March 2009 and we now wish to add to our growing team based in the Irish Financial Services Centre. A more challenging role
In this position you will play a key role in the day-to-day treasury operations of Nationwide UK (Ireland), contributing to funding, liquidity, and collateral management activities.

A more talented person
As a successful applicant you must be able to demonstrate or have:
• Proven experience in a fixed income role
• An honours degree (or equivalent) in a relevant discipline
• A basic understanding of the markets for bank debt, asset-backed securities, repo, interest rate swaps, and foreign exchange
• Strong communication skills including the ability to write clearly and concisely
• Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Excel
• A positive attitude and the flexibility required to work in a small team

Previous experience in deal execution, credit analysis, or Bloomberg use would be a distinct advantage, while a professional qualification (e.g. CFA) or the willingness to work towards one would be favourably regarded.
