Role Summary/Purpose

Working as a Underwriter within GE your responsibilities will include:

Ensuring rigorous underwriting, making approval requests and update the operating system according to standard Risk policies and procedures,
• Evaluating new credit applications, reviewing and aligning established customers' credit lines.
• Managing Insurance limit with Credit insurance company.
• Updating the system in accordance with Credit decision and credit insurance limits.
• Monitoring changes in credit limit requirements and expiring limits and prepare credit limit review requests.
• Manage the client data in operating system, and ensuring the correct groupings as per contract and appropriate trade codes.

Qualifications/Requirements

As a Underwriter your skills and qualifications will ideally include:

Italian and/or Spanish language required

Degree in Finance/ Economics or equivalent and/or directly related experience.
Proven Underwriting knowledge - detailed understanding of financial analysis and other factors influencing corporate risk.
Experience in Asset Based Lending / non invoice discounting.
Proven analytical, problem solving, and process oriented skills.
Team work skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work in intense, highly time critical environment.
