Job Description Job Classification: Contract TEKsystem's client is looking for an UNIX Administrator to add to their team. This person will be responsible for installing, configuring and maintaining hardware, operating systems, and software products in support of 24x7 business processes. This individual will implement and maintain operating system software builds and product solutions for optimum performance, stability, reliability, security, etc. This function includes: administration and configuration activities, systems monitoring and reporting, system backups, on-call rotation, performance monitoring and tuning, and daily operational support. Additional Job Info: Looking for Jr to Sr UNIX Admin. Salary based on experience (up to 100k). Must have experience with scripting (perl, shell, etc.). Top 3 Skills: UNIX Administration, AIX experience, clustering Interview Info (date, time, process, interviewers) : Personal interview with Manager AND his team. 3 30-minute interiews in one day.
